Right on our doorstep—on the banks of the Neckar
Something special is currently taking shape right in front of our hotel: The city of Nürtingen is investing in the redevelopment of the Neckar riverfront to create an attractive gathering place for residents, guests, and visitors. You can learn more about the planned measures and the future design by consulting the open-space plan on display.
This is being built on the banks of the Neckar
- Redesign and enhancement of the open spaces along the Neckar River
- Adaptation and modernization of flood protection measures
- Attractive, landscaped recreational areas that offer a high quality of life
- A nature-inspired play area for children of various ages
- An outdoor beer garden with a self-service kiosk near the fish ladder
(Operated by the hotel – scheduled to open in May 2027) - Public access for all residents and visitors
As things stand, the measures are scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2026.
Note regarding potential disruptions
During the construction phase, there may be occasional construction and work-related noise. We would therefore like to inform you that the peace and quiet along the banks of the Neckar may be temporarily disrupted.
Please note that this is a measure implemented by the City of Nürtingen. As a hotel, we have no influence over the execution of the work, the construction schedule, or the methods used.
For this reason, we cannot guarantee during the construction phase that rooms facing the Neckar River will generally be quieter than those facing the street.
